Are You Stuck in a Rut Take a Step Back to Move ForwardDay 6 of 100:

Are You Stuck in a Rut?

Take a Step Back to Move Forward

Hey everybody! How are you? It has been a busy day. As I’ve been watching the construction over here and at the end of the road, a couple of things came to mind, like how people get stuck in a rut in the mud? I know it’s not funny, you’ve probably watched people spin their tires unable to get traction. That’s kind of what my day 6 video of 100 is about today.

You’re probably asking what do you mean you’re taking a step back?

Well, my name is Carla Gardiner. I’m known as The Fiery Grandma because I lead women to have more fun, learning how to update their outdated wardrobe using affordable costume jewelry.

Whether you’re 50 and over and want a reason to get out of that rocking chair; or you’re under 50 and need someone to take you under their wing, I’m your girl. That’s right! I’m your girl!

But, I’m here to tell you this. In life and business, sometimes you will feel nothing, just like being stuck in a rut. There is simply nothing there. You feel a certain way but you don’t know why you feel a certain way. It’s like you can’t go forward but you can’t go backward either. You can’t go sideways. You just can’t figure it out. I am trying to figure out how to best serve you. If you can’t figure yourself out, you sure as heck can’t figure out anything for anybody else either.

So, here’s my plan. Tonight, I had promised to do another live sale for my Accessories business and VIPs; but I’m not going to, why? It’s not because I’m flaky because I’m here for the long-haul. I don’t want to get on Facebook though and be like other fly by night fling it and bling it sales girl selling jewelry who gets stuck in a rut. I want to help you learn something help you have more fun for pity sake.

Nobody including me needs another job or time sucker like scrolling endlessly on Facebook (although that is how I found it, lol). We are all busy and if you are like me and I think you are or you wouldn’t be watching me, you want learn. You want to buy. You want to have fun but then you want to move on. Am I right?  We don’t need to have some long drawn out process to get the job done.

Going forward here’s the plan, I’m going to take a step back for 24 hours. I’m not going to do a Facebook live sale on my personal page. I’m going to relocate, i.e. move that activity over to my VIP Page so that my friends and family on my Facebook personal page can watch these 100 lives, watch my journey, and try to figure me out because they want to join me in business but don’t want to get stuck in a rut either. But most importantly we all can get back to having fun again. You know, it’s kind of like watching that blasted TV. Who wants more commercials, I just want to watch the movie already!

That’s why I’m taking a step back. I’m stepping back … kind of like climbing to the peak of a mountain, then looking over the valley to see how can I make it better for you.

My hope is that this makes sense to you. My hope is that explaining to you why I’m stepping back, not doing a live sale and not quitting enables you to see the way I think. To make your experience better, to make the time you spend on Facebook more fun and get organized, get unstuck and out of that rut; that is my goal here.

I’m human and want to make you proud to be my customer, work with me, and tell your friends “Hey, let’s go shopping with Carla! She’s a hoot! She’s crazier than us! Let’s go hang with her!” That’s what I’m after. It should be fun for you!

For now, here’s what I need your help with. Share this article and video if you feel you gained any value or insight into what your experience on Facebook should look like. Share it with your friends, your community, your tribe, people that you hang out and have fun with. Let them know I’m not flaking, that they can find me over on the VIP page, just click here it’s an easy way to get there.

So, let’s wrap this up, here’s what I’ve got for you today on day 6 of 100. Taking a step back is not a negative thing, it is a positive thing.  It’s like rocking that pick up that’s stuck in a rut, back and forth until you’ve gained traction and got out of the mud. If you have ever heard of that old saying, “Take one step forward and two steps back”, that’s what it takes in life and business. If you are more of a watch it kinda gal, see the replay video below.

Let me know your thoughts, share with me in the comments below. Do you think it was it time for a step back? Now it’s time for you to go look good, feel good and do good! Remember, grab your best life ever, don’t get stuck in a rut, it’s YOUR time to shine.
