When I was 24, I didn’t feel invincible. I felt broken. My body seemed to be auditioning for a retirement home: degenerative disc disease, unrelenting pain, and migraines so frequent they felt like a toxic relationship. By my mid-thirties, I had early-onset menopause on top of it all.
