What could be better than receiving a gift of health all year long?

Everyone loves to receive gifts, right? I know I sure do. The anticipation of what is inside that pretty package sometimes is more than I can bear.

Imagine having that same feeling all year long! When I regained my health back in 1997 that gift was more precious to me than all the money in the bank. If you've ever not had good, vibrant health then you know what I mean.

Everyone loves to receive a gift…

Every year we struggle to maintain some level of health through the
fall and winter months. Isn't it odd how those little cold viruses
and flu bugs find their way into our lives? It seems to hit our
little ones the most. Then because we are care givers our lovely
babies share what they have with their mommies and daddies. Isn't
that sweet? Not!

I was visiting with a friend yesterday. She was sharing with me how
frustrating it is that her kids are sick all the time. They are
young and active, one a toddler and one a preschooler. She home
schools the preschooler and has little contact with children
outside her peers and church friends. Yet, the kids always are
coming down with something, .Then of course mom and dad get the bug and so it goes…it's like a vicious circle…never ending.

I remember when my kids were that age, too.

It seems that kids are always putting their hands in their mouths,
rubbing their eyes and playing with toys. When mom picks up the
toys at night the germs transfer right to mom along with a million
of their cohorts.

For my kids it was different. Back then I worked full time at the
bank and they were at daycare where there were about 35 to 40 kids
at any given time. Other parents were just as stuck as I was when
it came to keeping their kids home when they were sick. What do I
mean?

My job at the bank frowned on calling in when the kids were sick.
For that matter if I called in at all I'd better be on my death
bed. Because other kids came into the daycare sick, I assume other
parents faced the same problem…we all needed our jobs, so we
jeopardized our childrens health and it spread like wildfire
through the daycare.

It wasn't until we found…

a good vitamin supplement that we were able to help the kids battle
those bugs and viruses. Unfortunately that was when they were in
high school and we had many miserable winters under our belt before
that.

One year though there was a particularly nasty bug went through the
high school. Our school is pretty small, ranges from 1,200 to 2,000
students per grade. It's a 4 year high school…so somewhere around
6,000 to 8,000 students attended daily. There were two months that the attendance was down 50% at any given time. It was very scary because the kids were very, very sick for weeks at a time.

I'm happy to tell you that both my daughter and son made it through
only being sick for 3 days versus the 3 to 4 weeks the other
students suffered through. It was a real testimony to the great
products that my friend so lovingly shared with me.

Drawing on my past experience raising my kids I shared with my
friend how we avoided the chronic sickness of the fall and winter
seasons. Each year we make sure we boost our immune systems to keep them strong, fighting off those nasty bugs and viruses that are
knocking at our door.

Perhaps you've struggled like my friend.

You can protect you and your family's health, too. Search out good vitamin supplements and help your body help you for a healthier season this year.

It is the best gift you can give and receive!

Carla J Gardiner
